I honestly thought it was a joke at first. I thought that it was some sort of elaborate bit or prank that he was pulling. Maybe I was reading The Onion? 

Oliver was only a few months older than me. And he made me laugh and smile a lot. I never knew him personally but he always reminded me of how much fun it was being a kid. I remember him speaking about how all he wanted to do was make good music and that he did the bowl cut and the silly outfits to enable him to do that. I thought that was really brave and I hope I can be that carefree someday.

I think he helped me relax. Helped me try to not take things so seriously. Guy was one of a kind. And he sure left us all a lot to smile about. I'll miss him.
